Responsibilities

• Identify and develop long-term relationships to grow the business, on a project basis with Pre-Construction.
• Select, with divisional leadership, appropriate skills to prepare and lead proposals and presentations to win projects.
• Ensure bid teams are fully briefed and debriefed, sharing learning and feedback with the team and divisional leadership.
• Plan skill requirements for assigned projects, managing and coordinating with HR to recruit within budget and headcount.
• Proactively transfer resourcing skills to project leadership staff.
• Ensure continuity of resourcing for assigned projects.
• Direct timely, quality and cost efficient setup for all assigned projects, ensuring that meeting and reporting documentation and schedules are implemented from the outset.
• Ensure setup links to close-out with quality processes and alignment of cost, scope and timescale.
• Provide support to ensure timely and efficient close-out.
• Oversee focus on client satisfaction in line with cost, scope and timescales.
• Ensure compliance of all statutory rules, regulations and UAE local laws for construction and refurbishment works.
• Proactively monitor project health & safety processes, culture and behaviors, ensuring compliance with Safety Procedures.
• Represent assigned projects at H&S meetings
• Promote H&S education with trade suppliers to raise awareness and avoid complacency.
• Take an active part in monthly divisional project reporting, ensuring reliable information, identify and address potential problem areas, ensuring client reporting is accurate.
• Proactively manage and monitor programmes, change process and financial reporting for assigned projects to ensure commercial risk avoidance and management.
• Establish and maintain regular project team meetings with risk assessment.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and client teams, conducting Fireside chats and troubleshooting as necessary.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with owners and directors of supply chain organisations and suppliers of all assigned projects; attend trade contractor meetings and manage supply chain.
• Transfer learning from Quality Assurance / Quality Control to assigned projects.
• Manage project construction teams in line with ISG values and culture.
• Provide effective feedback to project teams and individuals.
• Address performance or behavior issues promptly with HR support.
• Contribute to individual’s PDRs as required.
• Set up regular game days to test workloads and team responses to simulated events.
• Learn from operational failures and drive improvements across teams and the organization.
• Develop and sustain work streams and drive principle-based behaviours, including value creation, accountability, integration, data-driven decisions, right first-time culture, and respect.
• Identify, manage and execute projects delivering year-over-year improvements.
• Challenge status quo to drive improvements via best practice, innovation, and resource planning to deliver results.
• Be a regional expert and liaise with business development and operations teams.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers, and consultants to win new business.
• Assist in leading project acquisition and development from signing to closing.
