Job summary

Axis Communications in Dubai is seeking a Regional Director for the Middle East & Africa to lead a growing unit with 70 employees and about €100 million in revenue. You will oversee Sales, Sales Engineering, Marketing, HR, Finance and Sales Operations, driving growth while upholding Axis values.

The role requires extensive travel and responsibility for regional strategy, budgeting and P&L. Fluent English is essential, and experience across diverse MEA markets is valued.

Qualifications

Job Description

The head region EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) is looking for a Regional Director to lead one of our 4 regional business units, Middle East & Africa (MEA). MEA is a vibrant and highly divers region with big potential, constituting an important part of Axis and the head regional growth plan.

The position is based in our office in Dubai and requires extensive travelling.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As Regional Director for Middle East & Africa (MEA), you will lead a growing business with approximately €100 million in revenue and 70 employees. Your responsibility spans Sales, Sales Engineering, Marketing, HR, Finance & Sales Operations, with a focus on achieving our growth objectives while upholding our values.

You will drive business growth by executing Axis and EMEA strategies, while adapting them to regional requirements. The role includes budgetary and P&L responsibility, supported by a team of experienced managers.

Together, you will ensure effective, attractive and compliant operations across the business unit.

As a member of the EMEA Leadership Team, you will also contribute to the development and success of the wider EMEA organization.

This role reports to the Vice President of EMEA.

Experience working in diverse, multicultural teams is important, as the role involves collaboration with EMEA leadership, Axis headquarters and regional offices in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Türkiye, Kazakhstan and South Africa. An understanding of cross-cultural dynamics and regional business practices is essential.

In addition, you should:

• Have a university degree in business management or a related field.
• Have more than 10 years of experience successfully leading people and managers in an international sales environment, preferably across several functions.
• Have a strong sales background, preferably in technology and an indirect sales model.
• Have experience with budgeting and P&L responsibility.
• Be fluent in English.
• Being fluent in a language spoken in MEA is an advantage.
