Michael Page is seeking a senior commercial growth leader for a global short shelf life brand, based in Dubai. You will drive ME sales growth across channels, appoint distributors, and negotiate with retailers and foodservice partners to secure profitable expansion.

You will work with senior leadership, travel regularly, and play a pivotal role in market entry strategies and multi-country sales operations to fuel future growth.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial/business development experience within a short shelf life food category.
• Strong track record of opening new key accounts and developing profitable customer partnerships across retail and/or foodservice.
• Demonstrated experience identifying, appointing and managing distributors across multiple international markets.
• Commercially savvy with the ability to challenge existing approaches and identify new growth opportunities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for winning new business and unlocking new channels.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of building credibility with both internal and external partners.
• Comfortable operating in a highly autonomous regional role involving regular travel.
• Previous responsibility for multi-country sales operations would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth across the Middle East and potentially wider markets delivering against revenue, profitability and market share objectives.
• Develop and execute strategic business development initiatives to unlock new channels, customers and routes-to-market.
• Identify, appoint and manage distributor partners, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and growth plans.
• Build and strengthen relationships with key retailers, foodservice operators, distributors and strategic accounts across the region.
• Lead negotiations with customers and partners to secure sustainable, profitable growth opportunities.
• Evaluate market trends, competitive activity and emerging opportunities to support business expansion.
• Drive value growth initiatives, balancing volume growth with margin optimisation.
• Develop market entry and expansion strategies for new territories and customer segments.
• Support succession and team-building plans as the regional business continues to grow.
