Job summary

IFS is seeking an experienced Regional Business Development Leader to oversee the BDR function across APJ MEA on a fixed-term basis. You will lead and coach a regional team, drive multi-market campaigns, and ensure high-quality pipeline with rigorous data discipline.

You will partner with Sales and Marketing to deliver coordinated outreach, leverage AI and automation, and optimize the BDR operating model from targeting to handover.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a high-performing BDR/SDR/BDR team across markets/geographies.
• Delivered qualified enterprise sales pipeline via multiple campaigns/workstreams.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end BDR operating model: targeting, prospecting, qualification, conversion, handover, measurement.
• Data-driven leadership, diagnosing performance challenges and improving processes/productivity/outcomes.
• Knowledge of modern sales tech, AI and automation for BDRs.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills for a complex regional environment.
• Self-starting, resilient, accountable leadership style.
• Ability to adapt management to different people and markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead coach and develop a regional team of BDRs for a high-performance culture.
• Own regional BDR performance including coaching and development.
• Drive results across markets, industries, solutions and campaigns with Sales and Marketing.
• Ensure effective lead management and SLA adherence from engagement to handover.
• Use data to identify leading/lagging indicators and act to improve conversion and productivity.
• Maintain CRM discipline and pipeline hygiene; hand over to Sales with quality data.
• Partner with Marketing to build multi-channel outreach programs and engagement.
• Champion AI and automation to improve prospect research and outreach.
• Drive adoption of the BDR tech stack (HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Lusha, LN) and tools.
• Build strong relationships with regional Sales/Marketing leaders to align with priorities.
