Baker Hughes Company is seeking a Regional Asset Planner for Sub Sahara Africa. You will develop regional asset strategies, coordinate movements, and drive efficiency across fleets while ensuring readiness for operations and growth initiatives.

The role requires 10+ years in asset planning, strong ERP knowledge (SAP), and proficiency in Power BI and data visualization. You will influence stakeholders, lead continuous improvements, and deliver measurable value for a large-scale asset environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in Asset Planning and Scheduling in oil & gas or asset-intensive environments.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and material planning/inventory management processes.
• Experience with Drilling Services tools, equipment, and workflows.
• Analytical and digital fluency, including Power BI, dashboards, databases, and visualization tools.
• Planning and optimization mindset with ability to translate data into asset utilization and redeployment actions.
• Stakeholder influence across cross-functional and matrix environments.
• Execution discipline with urgency, accountability and follow-through.
• Change leadership in fast-paced environments; continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional asset planning strategies aligning fleet availability with priorities.
• Ensure asset readiness for operations, startups, and growth initiatives through cross-team coordination.
• Coordinate regional asset movements including mobilizations and demobilizations to optimize fleet deployment.
• Identify and mitigate asset supply risks by evaluating gaps, repairs, investments, and redeployments.
• Drive utilization and capital efficiency by reducing idle and underutilized assets.
• Maintain asset governance and data accuracy, ensuring compliance with asset management policies.
