Job summary

Scovai seeks a Regional AI Transformation Director to steer the AI agenda across the MEA region, partnering with C-suite leaders to turn vision into strategic roadmaps. You will own end-to-end transformation, drive ML and generative AI adoption, and build internal AI capabilities.

Key responsibilities include governance of data practices, cloud platform strategy across AWS, Azure, and GCP, and large-scale change management to embed responsible AI across the organization. P&L ownership applies.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise AI transformations across large regions.
• Strong understanding of data protection and regulatory frameworks in MEA.
• Fluency in Arabic and/or French and cross-cultural stakeholder management.
• Proven track record building partnerships with universities, labs and startups.
• Hands-on governance for ethical AI, model risk, bias mitigation and auditability.

As Regional AI Transformation Director, you will own and drive the end-to-end AI transformation strategy across business units in the MEA region. You will develop and execute AI roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives, champion the adoption of machine learning and generative AI solutions, and build robust internal AI capabilities. Partnering directly with C-suite and senior stakeholders, you will govern data practices, oversee cloud platform strategy across AWS, Azure, and GCP, and lead large-scale change management initiatives that embed AI into the fabric of the business. P&L ownership and cross-functional leadership are central to this role.

Practical experience launching AI-driven SaaS products in emerging markets, including go-to-market and localization strategies Deep knowledge of data protection and regulatory frameworks across MEA (e.g., GDPR equivalents, POPIA, national data laws) and experience operationalizing compliance Fluency in Arabic and/or French plus demonstrated cross-cultural stakeholder management across MEA markets Proven track record building partnerships with universities, research labs, startups and local talent ecosystems to source AI expertise and co-develop solutions Hands‑on experience establishing ethical AI governance, model auditability, bias mitigation and model risk management practices.
