Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience across software delivery or engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of AI and software solutions from discovery through production and ongoing optimisation.
• Translate business and technical requirements into clear delivery roadmaps, sprint objectives and measurable milestones.
• Lead Agile delivery including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog management, release planning and retrospectives.
• Track delivery velocity, dependencies, risks and blockers and ensure issues are resolved quickly.
• Coordinate releases across engineering, QA, architecture and platform teams.
• Maintain high standards around quality, testing, security and production readiness.
• Identify potential scope or timeline risks early and communicate appropriate mitigation plans.
• Act as the primary delivery contact for enterprise customers.
• Build strong relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Lead regular client reviews, communicating technical progress in clear business terms.
• Facilitate discovery sessions to understand customer workflows, challenges and desired outcomes.
• Translate requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Manage changes in scope and assess their impact on timelines, resources and commercial delivery.
• Set clear expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and enable multidisciplinary teams across Software Engineering, AI/Data, Frontend, Backend and QA.
• Create an environment where teams can deliver quickly without compromising engineering quality.
• Identify skills gaps and support the continued development of engineers.
• Remove delivery friction and encourage collaboration across technical disciplines.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced AI Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of complex AI and software solutions for enterprise customers.

This is a hands-on leadership position sitting at the intersection of technology, delivery and client engagement. You will take ownership of a cross-functional engineering team, translating customer requirements into structured delivery plans and ensuring high-quality solutions move successfully from discovery and MVP through to production and scale.

You will work closely with Software Engineers, AI/Data specialists, QA, Solution Architects and customer stakeholders, taking overall responsibility for delivery performance, technical coordination and client satisfaction.

Delivery & Execution:

Technical & Architecture Governance

• Work closely with Solution Architects and senior engineers to guide technical decisions.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure and aligned with customer requirements.
• Maintain appropriate engineering standards across code quality, testing, security and documentation.
• Review technical approaches and challenge engineering decisions where appropriate.
• Manage technical debt and balance short-term delivery requirements against long-term platform quality.
• Ensure appropriate architecture decisions and technical documentation are maintained.
• Support delivery across cloud-based and enterprise environments, including integration with existing customer platforms.

Resource & Commercial Management

• Own resource planning across assigned projects and delivery teams.
• Support hiring and team-building decisions as delivery requirements grow.
• Manage project capacity and ensure resources are aligned to customer priorities.
• Provide input into technology, tooling and infrastructure investment decisions.
• Maintain visibility over delivery costs and project performance.

Required Experience

• 8+ years' experience across software delivery, technology programme delivery, product delivery or engineering leadership.
• 3+ years leading cross-functional technology teams across areas such as Backend, Frontend, Data/AI and QA.
• Demonstrable experience taking technology products or solutions from initial discovery and MVP through to production and scale.
• Strong Agile delivery experience including sprint planning, backlog management, release management and delivery metrics.
• Significant experience working directly with enterprise customers and senior technology stakeholders.
• Strong enough technically to engage credibly with engineers and architects and challenge technical decisions when required.
• Comfortable reviewing areas such as APIs, data models, integration patterns, cloud architectures and deployment processes.
• Experience delivering complex enterprise software, digital platforms or technology transformation programmes.
• Delivery of AI/ML or Generative AI solutions within enterprise environments.
• Exposure to technologies such as LLMs, AI agents, RAG, model integration or prompt engineering.
• Experience delivering solutions across Azure or other major cloud platforms.
• Exposure to Oracle environments and enterprise data integrations.
• Understanding of modern DevOps practices, CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience delivering technology within highly regulated or security-conscious environments.
• Knowledge of UAE enterprise technology environments and associated security, compliance and data requirements.
• Exposure to GPU infrastructure or large-scale AI/ML workloads would be advantageous.
