Job summary

Y-Axis in Dubai seeks a proactive Recruitment Officer to lead the full cycle of hiring across technical, non-technical and blue-collar roles within the construction sector. You will manage high-volume recruiting for large projects, coordinate with local and overseas agencies, and build a robust pipeline of skilled trades and professionals.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in recruitment, experience in construction, and proficiency with LinkedIn, job boards, and ATS tools.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle for technical, non-technical, and blue-collar positions from planning to onboarding.
• Handle high-volume recruitment for large-scale construction projects.
• Liaise with local and overseas recruitment agencies and manpower suppliers.
• Source candidates through job portals, agencies, social media, referrals, and overseas channels.
• Prepare job descriptions and postings aligned with business needs.
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and oversee selection.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout recruitment.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of skilled trades and professionals.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle including offers and onboarding.
• Maintain ATS and candidate database for accurate records and reporting.
• Support employer branding and recruitment campaigns.
• Maintain recruitment records and workforce reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Recruitment Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment within the construction industry and a proven ability to attract and hire top talent across technical and non-technical roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle for technical, non-technical, and blue-collar positions, from manpower planning and sourcing to selection, onboarding, and employee mobilization.
• Handle high-volume recruitment to support large-scale construction projects and manage the hiring requirements of a large blue-collar workforce.
• Liaise with local and overseas recruitment agencies, as well as local manpower supply companies, to source qualified candidates and ensure the timely fulfillment of workforce requirements.
• Source candidates through job portals, recruitment agencies, social media, employee referrals, and overseas recruitment channels where applicable.
• Prepare job descriptions and job postings aligned with business requirements and workforce needs.
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates against job requirements.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and oversee the selection process.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of skilled trades, laborers, and professional candidates.
• Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, documentation, onboarding, and deployment of manpower.
• Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and candidate database to ensure accurate recruitment records and reporting.
• Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment campaigns to attract qualified talent.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and prepare workforce reports and hiring analytics as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and recruitment best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5–7 years of experience in Recruitment
• Experience working within the construction industry is a must.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Arabic speaker is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in using recruitment platforms and tools (LinkedIn, job boards, ATS systems).
• Strong experience in sourcing and hiring for technical roles (engineers, blue collars,site staff, etc.).
