Job summary

InterContinental Abu Dhabi is seeking a warm and service-oriented Recreation Receptionist to welcome guests, provide information on facilities, and handle bookings for our recreation offerings. You will work closely with lifeguards, attendants, and front office to ensure a seamless guest experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong English communication, a professional demeanor, and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and members warmly and create a positive first impression.
• Provide accurate information about facilities, hours, activities, and services.
• Handle guest enquiries in person and by phone professionally.
• Manage reservations and bookings for recreation facilities and services.
• Maintain accurate records of guest access, bookings, and information.
• Assist guests with registration and explain guidelines.
• Personalize service for returning guests where possible.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer proactive assistance.
• Escalate guest feedback to supervisors when needed.
• Process payments and maintain records per hotel procedures.
• Keep reception and guest areas clean and welcoming.
• Coordinate with Recreation Attendants, Lifeguards, Housekeeping, and others for smooth operations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel facilities, promotions, and events.
• Support Recreation team with daily administrative tasks.
• Follow health, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality.
• Uphold grooming standards and professional appearance.
