Job summary

Sunset Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced Reception Manager to oversee front-of-house operations across our luxury dining concepts, SushiSamba and Signor Sassi. Responsibilities

• Lead reception, hostess and reservations teams to deliver guest experiences.

We are currently seeking an experienced Reception Manager to oversee the front-of-house reception and reservations operations for our award-winning lifestyle dining concepts, SUSHISAMBA and Signor Sassi. Both venues are renowned for delivering exceptional dining experiences, vibrant atmospheres, and world-class hospitality to an international clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire the Reception, Hostess, and Reservations team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Manage daily reservations, table allocation, waitlists, and seating strategy to maximize covers and revenue.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with VIP guests, regular clientele, and hotel partners.
• Ensure all guest enquiries, special requests, and complaints are handled professionally and efficiently.
• Work closely with Restaurant Managers and Operations to optimize service flow during peak periods.
• Maintain exceptional grooming, service standards, and front-of-house presentation.
• Coach, train, and develop the reception team to achieve operational excellence.
• Monitor reservation trends and prepare reports to improve guest satisfaction and business performance.
• Ensure all guests receive positive and professional greeting to the highest standards to exceed the customer's expectations
• Handles guest problems and complaints
• Manage the reception team working schedules

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a similar role within luxury restaurants or lifestyle dining concepts.
• Strong knowledge of reservation platforms such as SevenRooms, or similar systems.
• Proven experience managing high-volume operations and leading multicultural teams.
• Excellent communication, guest engagement, and service recovery skills.
• Highly organized, commercially aware, and passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Positive and high energy level
