Job summary

Gulfjobfair in Dubai seeks a Receiving & Store In Charge to oversee the accurate receiving, inspection, storage, issuance and recording of food, beverages and operating supplies. The role will maintain proper stock levels, ensuring effective inventory control and robust cost reporting.

You will collaborate with Finance, Purchasing, F&B and Operations to verify documents, manage FIFO processes and safeguard company inventory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in receiving, stores or inventory management, preferably within a hotel, club, hospitality or F&B environment.
• Strong knowledge of receiving and inventory control procedures, including LPO/PO verification, GRNs, stock issuance, inventory counts, reconciliation and FIFO principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when checking quantities, quality, expiry dates, supporting documents and identify discrepancies and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

Receiving & Store In Charge

To oversee the accurate receiving, inspection, storage, issuance and recording of food, beverages and operating supplies. The role will be responsible for maintaining proper stock levels, ensuring effective inventory control, and supporting accurate stock and cost reporting.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in receiving, stores or inventory management, preferably within a hotel, club, hospitality or F&B environment.
• Strong knowledge of receiving and inventory control procedures, including LPO/PO verification, GRNs, stock issuance, inventory counts, reconciliation and FIFO principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when checking quantities, quality, expiry dates, supporting documents and identify discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and good understanding of proper storage, stock movements, transfers, wastage and expiry controls.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Finance, Purchasing, F&B and Operations teams.
• High level of integrity, accountability and commitment to safeguarding company inventory.
