Job summary

Kimpton Sevn Dubai seeks a Receiving Clerk cum Storekeeper to manage receiving and inventory control from pre-opening onward. You will check deliveries, record stock, and ensure accurate storage and documentation, acting as a link between Procurement, Finance, suppliers and hotel operations.

You will uphold FIFO/FEFO principles, support audits, and help build an organised receiving and stores operation from day one in a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in hospitality, logistics, stores, or inventory management is an advantage.
• Knowledge of receiving and inventory control processes is preferred.
• Ability to document and record goods accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Receive food, beverage, operating supplies, equipment, and other hotel deliveries against approved documentation.
• Record goods received in the hotel system and maintain accurate stock records.
• Store stock correctly, monitor expiry dates, and ensure proper storage conditions.
• Issue stock to departments against approved requisitions and document movements.
• Participate in physical counts and reconcile variances, aiding month-end processes.
• Support supplier communications and ensure compliance with HACCP, safety, and audit requirements.
