Job summary

SO/ in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Agent to verify deliveries against purchase orders, inspect goods for damage, and ensure accurate documentation. You will maintain inventory records, coordinate with suppliers, support stock audits, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced hospitality or retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification an advantage.
• Experience with receiving goods, stock control and reporting.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in records.
• Familiarity with health, safety and handling of goods.
• Proficient in Excel/Word and inventory software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check inbound deliveries against purchase orders for quantity, quality and specs.
• Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies, report to Purchasing In-Charge.
• Accurately complete delivery notes, invoices and goods receipt forms.
• Update and maintain inventory records in the system.
• Store received goods in appropriate locations and keep receiving area organized.
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies and log returns.
• Participate in stock counts and audits with the Purchasing team.
• Follow safety guidelines for handling food items and chemicals.
