Job summary

Shapoorji Pallonji & Company Pvt. Ltd. in the UAE is seeking a Raw Material Purchasing Executive to source paint and chemical raw materials, negotiate terms, and ensure timely supply to production.

You will build supplier networks across UAE/GCC and international markets, manage landed costs and import documentation (COA/SDS/TDS), track orders, and drive cost savings with ERP and Excel. Experience in coatings or chemicals and strong negotiation skills preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of procurement experience in paints, chemicals, or coatings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, landed-cost calculations, and supplier networks.

Responsibilities

• Purchase resins, solvents, pigments, fillers, and additives.
• Develop reliable suppliers across UAE/GCC and international markets.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQs, and delivery schedules.
• Compare total landed costs and identify savings.

Key responsibilities:

• Purchase resins, solvents, pigments, fillers, and additives.
• Develop reliable suppliers across the UAE/GCC and international markets.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, minimum order quantities, and delivery schedules.
• Compare total landed costs and identify savings.
• Track purchase orders and shipments, coordinating with internal teams to prevent shortages.
• Maintain purchasing data in the ERP and ensure COA, SDS/TDS, and import documentation are available.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in paint, coatings, resin, or chemical manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of chemical raw materials, a UAE/GCC supplier network, and international sourcing experience.
• Understanding of Incoterms, freight, imports, and landed-cost calculations.
• Strong negotiation skills and proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
