Job summary

Manufacturing Co (paints, coatings, petrochemicals) in Umm Al Quwain, UAE, is hiring a Raw Material Planner to ensure production materials availability, optimize inventory, and reduce shortages and obsolescence within the procurement team.

The role requires strong MRP/ERP knowledge, BOM accuracy, and hands-on experience in chemical or manufacturing industries. You will monitor stock levels, coordinate with Purchasing, and prepare reports on material availability and shortages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Proven experience in material planning/MRP within manufacturing or chemical sectors.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, BOM, inventory control, and production planning.

Responsibilities

• Calculate raw material requirements using production plans, forecasts and MRP.
• Monitor stock levels, safety stock, minimum order quantities, and supplier lead times.
• Identify shortages and coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers on deliveries.
• Track excess, slow-moving, and near-expiry materials.
• Maintain planning parameters in the ERP and ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare material availability, shortage, and inventory reports.
