Job summary

Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA seeks an experienced Procurement Category Buyer for a major railway infrastructure project in the UAE. The role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies across security, IT hardware/software, telecom, cybersecurity, and control systems, with focus on competitive pricing and timely delivery.

The candidate will manage RFIs/RFPs, supplier selection, contract support, and ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Develop and implement procurement strategies across security systems, IT hardware and software, telecommunications, cybersecurity and control systems.
• Support category management and procurement activities for railway infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop category sourcing strategies for railway-related systems and technologies.
• Manage RFIs, RFQs, RFPs and competitive tendering processes.
• Evaluate supplier offers from technical, commercial and contractual perspectives.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, warranties, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate procurement documentation for tenders and ongoing projects.
• Monitor supplier performance against KPIs and drive cost optimization.
