The role involves coordinating with engineering and project teams, preparing RFQs/RFPs, and driving cost savings through strategic sourcing and long-term supplier agreements.

Qualifications

• Min 12 years of UAE experience in construction companies.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong experience in building/infrastructure projects.
• Strong negotiation, contract management and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop project-specific procurement strategies aligned with project schedules, budgets and technical requirements.
• Prepare procurement plans, material take-offs and sourcing timelines for building/infrastructure projects.
• Identify, prequalify and manage suppliers, manufacturers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning and project teams to forecast procurement needs.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs and tenders for materials, equipment and subcontract packages.
• Lead bid evaluations (technical and commercial) and negotiate contracts, pricing and delivery terms.
• Ensure contracts align with project specifications, legal requirements and company policies.
• Achieve cost savings through strategic sourcing, bulk purchasing and long-term supplier agreements.
• Monitor procurement budgets and report cost variances.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, company policies and local/international procurement regulations.
• Manage procurement of key infrastructure/civil materials and heavy construction equipment.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, finance, QA/QC and HSE teams.
• Support claims, variations and audits related to procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts and correspondence.
• Prepare procurement status reports, cash flow forecasts and supplier performance reviews.
