Job summary

Green Team Renovation Technical Servicess LLC in Dubai seeks an experienced Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to drive cost planning and bidding for villa renovations and interior fit-outs. You will conduct site surveys, prepare BOQs and quotations, and coordinate with suppliers and the project team to ensure accurate costing.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in villa renovations, a civil/QS qualification, strong Excel skills, and the ability to read drawings and manage multiple quotations to meet

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in estimation, quantity surveying, villa renovation, residential construction or interior fit-out
• UAE experience strongly preferred, especially in Dubai villa renovation projects
• Strong ability to prepare BOQs, quotations, quantity take-offs and cost estimates
• Good understanding of villa renovation works including civil, tiling, painting and fit-out elements
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to read drawings, specifications and site measurements

Responsibilities

• Visit prospective clients at villas and residential properties to understand the renovation or fit-out work required
• Prepare detailed BOQs, quantity take-offs, material take-offs and cost estimates
• Calculate labour, material, subcontractor and other project costs
• Prepare quotations and revise them following changes in client requirements or project scope
• Coordinate with supervisors, foremen and operations team after project award
• Handover approved scope, BOQ, materials and timeframe to site team
• Assist project team with clarification of quantities, specifications and scope during execution
• Maintain records of quotations, estimates and pricing for projects

Job description

Responsibilities

• Visit prospective clients at villas and residential properties to understand the renovation or fit-out work required
• Meet clients professionally discuss their requirements and clearly define the scope of work
• Carry out detailed site surveys including measurements photographs and site notes
• Identify all required works during the site visit and highlight any technical or practical concerns
• Prepare detailed BOQs quantity take-offs material take-offs and cost estimates
• Calculate labour material subcontractor and other project costs
• Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations where required
• Prepare clear accurate and professional quotations for clients
• Revise quotations and BOQs following changes in client requirements or project scope
• Estimate realistic project durations and manpower requirements
• Determine the materials quantities and resources required for each project
• Coordinate with supervisors foremen and the operations team once a project is awarded
• Clearly hand over the approved scope BOQ materials and expected timeframe to the site team
• Assist the project team with clarification of quantities specifications and scope during execution
• Maintain accurate records of quotations estimates supplier pricing and project costing
• Follow up internally on pending pricing and ensure quotations are prepared within the required timeframe
• Help minimise missed scope items underquoting and unnecessary variations through accurate site assessment and costing

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in estimation, quantity surveying, villa renovation, residential construction or interior fit-out.UAE experience is strongly preferred, particularly in Dubai villa renovation and fit-out projects
• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field
• Strong experience preparing BOQs, quotations, quantity take-offs, material take-offs and cost estimates
• Good understanding of villa renovation works including civil works, tiling, painting, ceilings, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, joinery and general fit-out works
• Good knowledge of labour productivity, material requirements and construction methods
• Familiarity with UAE supplier, subcontractor and market pricing is highly desirable
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to read drawings, specifications and site measurements accurately
• Strong attention to detail and good commercial awareness
• Confident, presentable and professional when dealing directly with clients
• Good written and spoken English
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Able to work independently, manage multiple quotations and meet deadlines
