Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 5 years UAE/Dubai experience in a similar QS role.
• Strong experience in commercial interior fit-out projects.
• Proficient in quantity take-offs, costing, quotations and tendering.
• Hands-on experience with variations and progress billing.
• Experience in vendor quotation evaluation.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to read and understand construction/interior drawings.
• Valid UAE Driving License - Mandatory.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial interior fit-out experience to join our team in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, cost estimation, quotations, tendering, variations, progress billing, vendor coordination and overall commercial management of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Quantity Take-Off & Costing prepare accurate quantity take-offs for commercial fit-out projects; prepare detailed cost estimates and project costing; prepare competitive quotations for new project inquiries; review drawings, specifications and BOQs to identify project requirements; analyse project costs and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.

Tendering & Commercial Activities prepare and review tender documents; analyse scope of work, specifications and commercial requirements; obtain and evaluate competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors; prepare detailed comparative statements and commercial analysis; coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for commercial requirements; support vendor evaluation and appointment processes.

Variations & Billing prepare, submit and manage variation orders; identify additional works and maintain proper variation documentation; prepare and submit progress billings; monitor project costs and commercial status; coordinate with project teams regarding completed works and billing requirements.

Vendor & Project Coordination coordinate closely with project managers, engineers and site teams; handle material and vendor-related commercial activities; follow up with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and commercial submissions; ensure commercial information is accurate and submitted on time.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of UAE/Dubai experience in a similar QS role.

Strong experience in commercial interior fit-out projects is preferred.

Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, costing, quotations and tendering.

Hands-on experience with variations and progress billing.

Experience in vendor quotation evaluation and comparative statements.

Strong commercial and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Ability to read and understand construction/interior drawings.

Valid UAE Driving License - Mandatory.
