Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors to join our team on newly awarded UAE projects across sectors, including high‑rise office and residential developments.

Role focuses on post‑contract commercial management: re‑measurement, cost reports, variations, claims, and subcontractor oversight, with a preference for FIDIC experience and CostX or similar QS software; strong English writing and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university.
• Minimum 5 years post-degree relevant experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Experience in high‑rise office or residential sectors.
• Consultant and/or client background for minimum of 4 years.
• Knowledge in CostX or similar QS software is required.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
• FIDIC contracts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Overview

AtkinsRéalis are currently looking for experienced Quantity Surveyors to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and various locations within UAE. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within in UAE.

Your role

Post Contract

• Commercial Contract Administration incl re-measurement, interim and final account payment application assessments, Monthly Cost Reports, variations, contractors claims, Provisional Sums, Prime Costs, Nominated Sub-Contractors, insurances and bonds management, attendance of design and commercial meetings etc.

About you

• Previous experience of FIDIC Contracts preferred.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised university.
• Min 5 years post-degree relevant experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Experience in one of the following key sectors: High rise office or residential
• Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 4 years.
• Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is required.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
