Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quantity Surveying team across multiple construction projects
• Oversee project cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Review and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity take-offs, and tender documentation
• Manage interim payment applications, client billing, and final account submissions
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations, negotiate contracts, and certify subcontractor payments
• Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate variation orders (VOs), claims, and contractual correspondence
• Ensure compliance with contract conditions, project specifications, and company procedures
• Monitor project budgets, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and improve commercial performance
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Procurement, Planning, Finance, Consultants, and Clients
• Review project progress and provide commercial advice to the project team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
• 12–15 years of UAE/GCC experience in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a QS Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor
• Experience in Residential, Commercial, High‑Rise, and Villa construction projects
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, contract administration, cost control, and commercial management
• Proven experience in BOQs, quantity take-offs, budgeting, variation claims, and final account settlements
