Job summary

China Nuclear Industry 22nd Construction CO.,Ltd Dubai Branch (CNI22) is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveying Engineer to drive cost control across building, villa, residential or infrastructure projects in Dubai. You will prepare BOQs, analyze tenders, monitor budgets and manage variations through final accounts.

The role requires 3–5 years’ experience in construction, strong MS Office/Excel skills and familiarity with FIDIC contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, with building projects preferred.
• Experience in cost estimation, BOQ, variations, claims and final accounts.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and contract administration.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• MS Office proficiency, especially Excel; experience with QS software is a plus.
• Previous UAE or GCC market experience is preferred.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

• Prepare tender documents, analyze quotations and support the tendering process
• Monitor project costs, budgets and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage variations, claims, interim payment applications and final accounts
• Review and evaluate subcontractor quotations, payment applications and final accounts
• Assist in contract administration and ensure compliance with contract conditions, including FIDIC contracts
• Conduct cost analysis, cost forecasting and value engineering where required
• Coordinate with project, procurement, commercial and technical teams to ensure effective cost control
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, costs, variations, claims and commercial correspondence
• Prepare regular commercial and cost reports for management review

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
• 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveying Engineer in the construction industry
• Experience in building construction, villa projects, residential, commercial or infrastructure projects preferred
• Strong knowledge of quantity take‑off, BOQ preparation, cost estimation and cost control
• Practical experience in variations, claims, subcontract management and final account settlement
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and construction contract administration
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; knowledge of quantity surveying or cost management software is an advantage
• Previous experience in the UAE or GCC construction market preferred
