Job summary

Universal Talent Hub is seeking a seasoned QA/QC Incharge for the DAS Island Offshore location in the UAE. The role demands extensive QA/QC leadership on oil and gas turnarounds with a proven track record of managing QA/QC teams in major projects.

The candidate should hold a Mechanical Engineering degree, CWIP certification, API 510/570/653 advantages, ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor credentials and ADNOC GAS experience is a plus. Strong welding inspection and NDE procedure knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience in oil and gas turnarounds.
• At least 10 turnarounds as QA/QC lead or In-charge.
• ADNOC GAS experience will be added advantage.
• CWIP 3/2 certification is mandatory.
• API certifications 510/570/653 will be added advantage.
• ISO 9001:2015 certified Lead Auditor BGAS or NACE certification will be added advantage.
• Strong knowledge in welding inspection, repair procedures and static equipment maintenance.
• Proven experience leading QA/QC teams in major turnaround projects.
• Competent in reviewing technical documents WPS, PQRs, NDE procedures, work packs and QA plans.
• Excellent leadership, coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC teams during turnaround projects.
• Coordinate QA/QC activities with construction, engineering and third parties.
• Review and approve WPS, PQRs, NDE procedures, QA plans and work packs.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and client specifications.
• Interface with ADNOC GAS and other stakeholders for quality assurance.
