Job summary

DOUGLAS OHI - L.L.C - O.P.C is seeking a seasoned QA/QC Lead in Abu Dhabi to develop and implement site QAQC plans aligned with project specifications and industry standards.

You will oversee inspections and testing activities, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements. A track record of ISO 9001 implementation on large projects and CQE certification is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 10 years in industrial civil and building, oil & gas GCC construction field; industrial, petrochemical, onshore and offshore, power, water desalination.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site QAQC plans aligned with project specs and industry standards.
• Lead and manage the site QAQC team with clear direction, training, and performance reviews.
• Oversee all inspection and testing activities to verify compliance with drawings, specs, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain robust QAQC documentation systems including inspection reports, test results, NCRs, and corrective action plans.

Job description

Develop and implement comprehensive site-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control QAQC plans ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards.

Lead and manage the site QAQC team providing clear direction training and performance evaluation to foster a culture of quality excellence.

Oversee all inspection and testing activities verifying compliance with approved drawings specifications and regulatory requirements throughout construction.

Establish and maintain robust documentation systems for all QAQC records including inspection reports test results non-conformance reports NCRs and corrective action plans.

• 10 years in industrial civil and building, oil & Gas GCC construction field Industrial, Petrochemical, onshore and offshore, power, water Desalination.

Possession of relevant professional certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent is highly desirable.

Proven track record in implementing and managing ISO 9001 quality management systems on large-scale projects.

NOTE: Degree in the respective disciplines and previous approvals from ADNOC will be an added advantage.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or a related technical field.
