Job summary

Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking a QA/QC Inspector - Offshore to conduct inspections of construction materials, HVAC and MEP systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety requirements.

The role requires a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years offshore QA/QC experience; candidates should be proficient in reading blueprints and implementing ITPs and NCRs under ISO standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years QA/QC inspection experience, including offshore projects.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, NCRs, method statements.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, schematics and technical documents.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and relevant regulations including ASTM, ASME, OSHA; QA/QC certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and testing of construction materials, workmanship, and mechanical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect and monitor HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection systems, mechanical equipment, and other MEP work during installation and commissioning.
• Identify and document non-conformities, deviations, and defects, and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, building codes, project specifications, permits, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Job Description:

• Conduct inspections and testing of construction materials, workmanship, and mechanical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards

• Proven ability to plan, organize, assign, supervise, and inspect workforce activities, with strong proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and technical documents.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and relevant regulations including ASTM, ACI, ASME, and OSHA; relevant QA/QC certifications are an added advantage.
