Bayut & dubizzle is recruiting a Purchaser in the UAE to price vehicles for representation on the dubizzle Cars platform and generate new listings to grow inventory and hit sales targets.

The role involves negotiating pricing with customers, purchasing cars for retail, and ensuring competitive pricing across Retail, Managed, and Auction segments. Strong market knowledge and CRM usage are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Valid UAE driver’s licence.
• Minimum of 2 years of automotive experience.
• Experience using CRM software/Apps (Salesforce preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of the used car market and GCC vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Price a variety of vehicles within the dubizzle car boundaries.
• Negotiate with customers to price cars effectively for maximum margin.
• Purchase cars for retail within given criteria.
• Price cars for managed service and ensure competitiveness.
• Achieve a healthy margin on retail (10%).
• Maintain stock with an average days-in-stock of 30.
• Meet monthly targets and margins (Retail, Managed, Auction).
• Enter customer and car data in Salesforce CRM accurately.
• Build and maintain customer relationships for future business.
• Oversee representation process from meet-and-greet to handover to enhance customer experience.

As a Purchaser, you will be responsible for pricing vehicles for representation in order to advertise on the dubizzle Cars platform. You will be responsible for generating new listings, thus increasing inventory and ensuring that all sales targets are met.

In this role, you will:

• Demonstrate a clear ability to price a multitude of vehicles within the boundaries of the dubizzle car.

• Negotiate with customers to price cars effectively, ensuring an efficient sale with maximum margin.
• Purchase cars for retail within the given criteria.
• Price cars for managed service and ensure cars are priced competitively.
• Achieve a healthy margin on retail (10%).
• Maintain healthy stock with an average days-in-stock of 30.
• Achieve monthly targets and margins (Retail, Managed, Auction).
• Perform outbound on-call consultations to generate new branch sign-ups.
• Ability to adjust the price of vehicles to reflect the mileage, colour, warranty/service, engines, specifications, condition, etc.
• Efficiently enter data of customers and car credentials using the Salesforce CRM system to ensure current and future databases are maintained.
• Build and maintain customer relationships to generate potential future business.
• Oversee the representation process, from meet-and-greet through to handover, to enhance the overall customer experience.

• Previous experience using CRM software/Apps (Preferred Salesforce).
• In-depth knowledge of the used car market.
• Expertise in a wide range of makes, models, and specifications specifically for GCC vehicles.
• Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
• High-level interpersonal skills to facilitate communication in person, by email, and by telephone with professionalism.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively and efficiently.
• Highly presentable individual with a professional attitude.
