Job summary

Bayut & dubizzle is seeking a Purchaser to price vehicles for representation on the dubizzle Cars platform and to generate new listings, increasing inventory and hitting sales targets. The role involves negotiating with customers, purchasing cars for retail, and ensuring pricing remains competitive while maintaining a healthy 30-day stock and strong margins.

You will use Salesforce to manage data and build long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Valid UAE driver's licence.
• Minimum of 2 years automotive experience.
• Experience in used car purchases or sales.
• CRM experience; Salesforce preferred.
• Deep knowledge of the used car market in GCC.
• Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Price a multitude of vehicles within the dubizzle car boundaries.
• Negotiate with customers to price cars for maximum margin.
• Purchase cars for retail within criteria.
• Price cars for managed services and ensure competitiveness.
• Achieve retail margins (10%) and healthy stock (30 days).
• Meet monthly targets across Retail, Managed, Auction.
• Perform outbound on-call consultations to sign up branches.
• Adjust vehicle pricing for mileage, colour, warranty and specs.
• Enter customer and car data in Salesforce to maintain DBs.
• Build and maintain customer relationships for future business.
• Oversee the representation process from meet-and-greet to handover.

• Demonstrate a clear ability to price a multitude of vehicles within the boundaries of the dubizzle car
• Negotiate with customers to price cars effectively, ensuring an efficient sale with maximum margin
• Purchase cars for retail within the given criteria
• Price cars for managed service and ensure cars are priced competitively
• Achieve a healthy margin on retail (10%)
• Maintain healthy stock with an average days-in-stock of 30
• Achieve monthly targets and margins (Retail, Managed, Auction)
• Perform outbound on-call consultations to generate new branch sign-ups
• Ability to adjust the price of vehicles to reflect the mileage, colour, warranty/service, engines, specifications, condition, etc
• Efficiently enter data of customers and car credentials using the Salesforce CRM system to ensure current and future databases are maintained
• Build and maintain customer relationships to generate potential future business
• Oversee the representation process, from meet-and-greet through to handover, to enhance the overall customer experience

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline

• Valid UAE driver's licence

• Relevant expertise in used car purchases or sales
• Previous experience using CRM software/Apps (Preferred Salesforce)
• In-depth knowledge of the used car market
• Expertise in a wide range of makes, models, and specifications specifically for GCC vehicles
• Strong negotiation and leadership skills
• High-level interpersonal skills to facilitate communication in person, by email, and by telephone with professionalism
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively and efficiently
• Highly presentable individual with a professional attitude
