Job summary

ABB in Dubai is seeking a Visa/Immigration Coordinator to support labor relations and employee mobility. You will coordinate and manage labor relations with management on behalf of employees, serve as a liaison between workers and management, and facilitate positive labor-management communication channels.

You will plan and organize labor union activities, meetings, and other projects. The role is onsite and contributes to Electrification in UAE.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a related role.
• Strong communications skills and eagerness to learn.
• Degree or Diploma in business or any related field.
• You are at ease communicating in English.
• Having connections with different authorities.

This position reports to:

Visa/Immigration Manager

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and manage labor relations with the management on behalf of the employees. Each day, you will serve as a liaison between workers and management, by facilitating positive labor-management communication channels. You will also showcase your expertise by planning and organizing labor union activities, meetings, and other projects.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification in UAE.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Having strong connections with different authorities such as TECOM, DAFZA, JAFZA(UAE)
• Having relations in MOHRE, GDRFA, DDA and all authorities for any challenges we may face
• Arranging visa (Employees and families) for expatriates, Dealing with Emirates ID issues
• Managing the visa checklist as when the rules on visa/labor changes are also responsible for Visa Renewals
• Scheduling staff visa, medical, coordinating with other internal and external departments.
• Collecting all appropriate documentation necessary for visa and permits required to be processed.
• Responding to staff queries on Visa/ Labour/ Passport related matters.
• Representing the Company at locations such as the Police Station, Airport, Hotels, Embassies,
• Dealing with Foreign Affair and different Consulates, for attesting document.
• Assisting in all general inquiries concerning labor and immigration matters.
• Aware of Online Visa/GDRFA and Tasheel/labour process
