Job summary

MENA Consultant in Dubai is seeking an experienced Project & Sales Engineer to drive business development, technical sales, and successful project execution in the electrical power sector.

You will identify opportunities, prepare technical and commercial proposals, support tendering, and coordinate project delivery with cross-functional teams to meet client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant sales experience in the electrical power industry.
• Experience selling MV/LV switchgear, substations, transformers, AC/DC systems, T&D, and power generation equipment.
• Good understanding of electrical power systems, protection and control systems, and related solutions.
• Preferred: UAE or GCC market experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop sales and project opportunities within the electrical power industry.
• Promote electrical power systems and solutions, including MV/LV switchgear, substations, transformers, AC/DC systems, T&D, and power generation equipment.
• Prepare and coordinate technical and commercial proposals for electrical power projects.
• Support tendering activities, including reviewing project requirements and preparing submissions.
• Coordinate and support the execution of electrical power projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Understand client technical requirements and recommend appropriate electrical power solutions.
• Support commercial discussions and negotiations related to project opportunities.
• Coordinate with technical, commercial, and project teams to support project delivery.
• Contribute to business development and sales growth within the electrical power sector.

The role will focus on developing project opportunities, preparing technical and commercial proposals, supporting tendering activities, and coordinating the execution of electrical power projects and solutions.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant sales experience in the electrical power industry.
• Experience with sales of some of the following products:
  • Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear
  • Substations
  • Transformers
  • AC/DC Systems
  • Transmission & Distribution (T&D)
  • Power Generation
• Good understanding of electrical power systems, protection and control systems, and related solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in the UAE or GCC market.
