THA by ARMONIA is seeking an experienced Creative Manager to support high-end and boutique events in the UAE. Based in Dubai, the role starts on a freelance basis with potential for permanent placement, collaborating with international design teams to deliver on-ground concepts.

You will design buildable environments, source local suppliers, and oversee onsite fabrication and installation to ensure the creative vision is realized in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event design, creative production, experiential events or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD and Photoshop.
• Experience on both large-scale and boutique or high-end events.
• Established network of UAE-based suppliers, fabricators and production partners.
• Comfortable doing site visits and working hands-on during event preparation and build.

About the Role

Our client, a creative events company, is looking for an experienced Creative Manager to support the delivery of high-end, large-scale and boutique events in the UAE. The role is based in Dubai and works closely with the client’s international creative and design team. It starts on a freelance basis, with the potential to become a permanent position.

You will:

• Turn creative concepts into practical, buildable event environments
• Manage local suppliers, fabricators and production partners in Dubai
• Make sure the design vision is delivered accurately on the ground

You will be the local link between the creative team and the people building the event. The team sets the creative direction. You will make it work in the UAE by checking what is feasible, sourcing materials and suppliers, and overseeing the build.

This is a hands-on role. You will produce drawings, visit sites, review finishes and solve problems on site during build and installation, as well as coordinate the wider delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Creative and Technical Design

• Work with the international creative and design team to develop and implement event concepts in the UAE.
• Produce and review technical drawings, layouts and design concepts using SketchUp, AutoCAD and Photoshop.
• Support the creative team with local knowledge, material sourcing and technical feasibility.

Site and Supplier Management

• Attend venue and site visits to take measurements, assess spaces and identify technical or logistical considerations.
• Source, brief and coordinate local suppliers, fabricators and production partners.
• Build and maintain a strong network of reliable UAE-based suppliers and creative partners.

Production and Quality Control

• Review supplier proposals, materials, finishes and fabrication details against the required creative standards.
• Work with production teams to make sure the design is delivered accurately and to specification.
• Troubleshoot design and production challenges on site and provide practical solutions.

Event Delivery

• Support the team through the build, installation and execution phases of each event.
• Maintain a consistently high level of quality and attention to detail across all creative elements.

• Proven experience in event design, creative production, experiential events, exhibition design or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD and Photoshop.
• Experience on both large-scale and boutique or high-end events.
• Strong understanding of event production, fabrication, materials and technical execution.
• An established network of UAE-based suppliers, fabricators and production partners.
• Comfortable doing site visits and working hands-on during event preparation and build.
• Strong communication and project coordination skills.

Working Conditions
