Job summary

AEGEAN M E P SWIMMING POOLS INSTALLATION L.L.C is seeking an experienced Civil/Mechanical Project Engineer to lead complex pool and water feature projects in Dubai. You will oversee execution, coordinate site activities, review drawings and specs, and ensure HSE compliance.

You will develop schedules, monitor progress, manage costs and documentation, liaise with clients and consultants, and drive on-time handovers while maintaining quality and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project execution
• At least 3 years in swimming pool, water feature, fountain, or landscape construction
• UAE or GCC experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of pool systems and MEP works; ability to read engineering drawings, specs, and BOQs
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project; Primavera is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Oversee execution of pool, spa, fountain, and water feature projects
• Coordinate daily site activities with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical docs before execution
• Develop project schedules and monitor progress for timely completion
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects and internal teams throughout the project
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, company standards and HSE requirements
• Monitor costs, material usage, manpower and productivity
• Review and approve material requests, shop drawings, method statements and submittals
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and resolve issues
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for management
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging and handover
• Manage project documentation including RFIs, NCRs, inspections and as-builts
• Identify risks and implement mitigation measures
• Support continuous improvement and maintain client relationships

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of multiple swimming pool plunge pool spa fountain and water feature projects
• Coordinate daily site activities with Site Engineers supervisors subcontractors and suppliers
• Review project drawings specifications BOQs and technical documents before execution
• Develop project schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely completion
• Coordinate with clients consultants architects and internal departments throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with project specifications UAE regulations company standards and HSE requirements
• Monitor project costs material usage manpower and productivity
• Review and approve material requests shop drawings method statements and technical submittals
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and resolve technical issues
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management
• Coordinate inspections testing commissioning snagging and project handover
• Manage project documentation including RFIs NCRs inspection requests and as-built drawings
• Identify project risks and implement effective solutions to minimize delays
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain excellent client relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project execution.
• At least 3 years of experience in swimming pool, water feature, fountain, or landscape construction.
• UAE or GCC experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of: Swimming pool construction Pool hydraulic systems Waterproofing systems Filtration and circulation systems Pool MEP works Civil and finishing works Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and MS Project (Primavera is an advantage).
• Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Preferred Qualifications Experience delivering luxury villa, hospitality, or commercial swimming pool projects.
• Knowledge of UAE authority requirements and construction standards.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
