Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4–5 years of UAE experience in swimming pool construction to plan, supervise, and deliver projects from excavation to handover.

You will review drawings (architectural, structural, MEP), coordinate with MEP teams, ensure QA/QC and HSE compliance, and manage schedules, daily reports, and approvals with municipalities and Civil Defence. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 4–5 years UAE experience with hands-on swimming pool construction.
• Knowledge of UAE authority approvals (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, Civil Defence, DDA).
• Familiarity with pool construction methods and coordination with MEP.

Job description

• Plan, execute, and monitor civil construction activities for swimming pool projects (residential, commercial, villas, or resort/hospitality pools) from excavation to handover.

• Review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings related to pool shell, waterproofing, tiling, coping, and deck areas.

• Supervise pool shell construction (RCC/shotcrete/gunite), waterproofing works, and finishing (tiling, mosaic, pebble finish, etc.).

• Coordinate with MEP teams for pool filtration, plumbing, circulation, and electrical works integration with civil works.

• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and UAE municipality/Civil Defence/Trakhees/DDA/relevant authority approvals.

• Prepare and monitor project schedules (using MS Project/Primavera), track progress, and report delays or deviations.

• Conduct quality checks and inspections; ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and HSE standards.

• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and project managers for approvals, RFIs, and inspections (municipality/civil defence testing & commissioning).

• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, material requisitions, and as-built documentation.

• Handle snagging, de-snagging, and final handover of pool works to client/consultant.

• Ensure cost control and minimize wastage of materials on site.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.

• 4–5 years of UAE experience, with specific hands-on experience in swimming pool construction (structure, waterproofing, tiling, pool decks, and finishing works) — mandatory.

• Sound knowledge of pool construction methods: shotcrete/gunite shells, waterproofing membranes, tiling/mosaic/pebble finishes, coping stones, and pool equipment coordination.

• Familiarity with UAE authority approval processes (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, Civil Defence, DDA, or relevant emirate authority) for pool projects.

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office.

• Strong site supervision, subcontractor management, and coordination skills.

• Valid UAE driving license preferred.

• Immediate joiners preferred / candidates available in UAE preferred.

• Good communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi is a plus).

• UAE Experience is mandatory.
