  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of shop drawings, material submittals, samples, method statements, and RFIs.
  • Follow technical submissions through the review and approval process to prevent procurement or construction delays.
  • Track actual site progress against planned milestones and provide accurate updates to the Project Manager.

  • Supervise installation of partitions, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, painting, doors, ironmongery, joinery, and decorative elements.
  • Coordinate with joinery and factory teams for bespoke furniture, cabinetry, doors, wall panels, and manufactured interior components.
  • Verify dimensions, interfaces, finishes, and installation requirements before manufactured items are released or installed.
  • Inspect completed works for conformity with approved drawings, project specifications, samples, and required workmanship standards.
  • Work with QA/QC personnel on inspection requests, snagging, testing, defect identification, and closure of outstanding items.
  • Monitor material requirements against the construction program and coordinate timely deliveries to site.
  • Check material storage, handling, availability, and utilization to minimize damage, shortages, and disruption to scheduled works.
  • Identify site constraints, design conflicts, technical problems, and potential schedule risks at an early stage.
  • Develop practical technical solutions and coordinate required approvals before corrective work proceeds.
  • Maintain progress reports, material status records, technical correspondence, and other project documentation.
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities and monitor performance against assigned scope, quality expectations, and completion dates.
  • Participate in site meetings, technical coordination sessions, inspections, and progress reviews.
  • Ensure fit-out activities comply with project HSE procedures and applicable UAE requirements.
  • Support commercial and cost control teams by identifying variations, additional works, and changes affecting the original scope.
  • Provide technical guidance to site engineers, supervisors, draftsmen, and subcontractor personnel.
  • Coordinate final snagging and ensure outstanding defects are rectified before handover.
  • Support preparation of as-built drawings, O and M documentation, inspection records, handover files, and project close-out requirements.
