Azizi Developments in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Infrastructure to oversee and coordinate infrastructure works, ensuring alignment with drawings, specifications, QA/QC, and HSE standards. You will coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to keep the programme on schedule.

• Good understanding of project planning, progress monitoring, and site documentation.

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer – Infrastructure to oversee and coordinate the execution of infrastructure works, ensuring projects are completed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and agreed timelines. Candidates currently working with infrastructure contracting or construction companies will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise day-to-day infrastructure project activities to ensure timely execution.
• Manage site execution of infrastructure works, including roads, earthworks, drainage, sewerage, stormwater networks, and wet and dry utilities.
• Review and interpret approved drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, surveyors, and site teams to resolve technical and execution issues.
• Monitor project progress against the approved programme and ensure work is completed within the required schedule.
• Ensure all activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, QA/QC procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, material approvals, technical submissions, and work inspections with consultants and relevant authorities.
• Prepare and review daily progress reports, material requests, inspection requests, and other project documentation.
• Identify site issues, delays, and potential risks, and implement corrective actions in coordination with the project team.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, and material requirements to support efficient site execution.
• Ensure proper coordination between civil works and utility installations to avoid clashes and rework.
• Assist in quantity verification, measurement of completed works, and preparation of as-built drawings and handover documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–9 years of relevant experience in infrastructure construction projects.
• Candidates currently working with infrastructure contracting or construction companies will be strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in executing roads, drainage, sewerage, stormwater, and wet/dry utility works.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality requirements.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Good understanding of project planning, progress monitoring, and site documentation.
