Job summary

Prompt General Contracting is seeking a Site Engineer experienced in infrastructure projects in the UAE. The role focuses on supervising stormwater drainage, pipelines, and related works, ensuring adherence to drawings, specs, and schedules.

You will coordinate with subs, foremen, and suppliers to keep the project on track and maintain quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include daily site supervision, quality checks, reporting, and preparing progress and look-ahead schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience as a Site Engineer in infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on experience with stormwater drainage, pipelines, and related infrastructure or utility works.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities related to stormwater drainage, pipelines, and other infrastructure works.
• Ensure all site activities comply with approved shop drawings, project specifications, and construction schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, foremen, labor teams, and suppliers to maintain efficient workflow and timely completion of works.
• Monitor material usage, report discrepancies, and coordinate material requirements with the procurement team.
• Identify site issues and propose technical solutions to minimize delays.
• Attend toolbox talks with foremen before starting new activities.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Identify potential site hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Prepare daily progress reports and weekly look-ahead schedules.
• Maintain proper site documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and issue logs.
• Implement corrective actions for quality and safety issues.
• Ensure compliance with relevant ADM requirements, project specifications, and company policies.
