Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Project Manager for major infrastructure works in the UAE. You will lead end-to-end delivery of roads, utilities, drainage, and water networks, ensuring adherence to drawings, specs, and method statements.

Responsibilities include program development, budget control, coordination with clients, consultants, and suppliers, and ensuring HSE compliance and timely handover. UAE/GCC experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10–15 years in infrastructure construction with proven Project Manager experience.
• Strong roads and infrastructure/utilities project experience.
• Experience with sewerage, stormwater, drainage, water supply, and utility networks preferred.
• UAE/GCC experience and UAE authority requirements knowledge are advantageous.

Job description

• Manage the overall execution of infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, drainage, sewerage, stormwater, and related works.

• Develop and monitor project programmes, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements

• Coordinate with the client, consultant, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.

• Ensure all construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.

• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required.

• Review and approve project plans, technical submissions, method statements, and work programmes

• Manage project resources, including manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors

• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, quality standards, and applicable UAE regulations

• Monitor project costs, variations, claims, and commercial matters in coordination with the commercial team

• Ensure timely completion, testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover of the project

• Maintain good relationships with clients, consultants, authorities Oversee the construction and installation of major infrastructure works, including:

Desired Candidate Profile

• Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in infrastructure construction, with proven experience in a Project Manager role. Strong experience in roads and infrastructure/utilities projects.

• Experience in sewerage, stormwater, drainage, water supply, and utility networks is preferred UAE/GCC experience is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of relevant UAE authority requirements and approvals is an advantage.

• Candidates with strong infrastructure experience rather than building/construction only experience should be prioritized.
