Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a Project Engineer / Civil Engineer to drive project delivery from planning through completion. You will coordinate activities, review drawings, manage budgets, and ensure safety and quality standards are met on site.

The role demands strong communication, problem-solving, and proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project, and Primavera P6, plus 3–7+ years of relevant experience. UAE/GCC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–7+ years of relevant engineering or construction project experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera P6, or related tools.
• UAE or GCC construction experience is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities from planning through completion.
• Review drawings, specifications, site conditions, materials, and methods.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
• Monitor project progress, site activities, manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify technical, quality, or construction issues.
• Review engineering drawings, BOQs, method statements, RFIs, and technical documentation.
• Ensure construction activities comply with project specifications, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Track project schedules, costs, variations, risks, and required corrective actions.
• Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, meeting records, and project updates.
• Assist with testing, commissioning, inspections, handover, and project close-out activities.
• Support problem-solving and recommend practical engineering solutions when challenges arise.

• Ability to manage multiple project priorities and meet deadlines.
• UAE or GCC construction experience is an advantage.
• Relevant engineering or project management certification is a plus.
