About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects from planning through execution and completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

Role Overview

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating all civil construction activities, including structural works, finishing works, infrastructure, and fit‑out projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, project management capabilities, and the ability to effectively coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all civil construction activities across multiple projects.
• Monitor site operations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate and oversee construction activities from project initiation through completion and handover.
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and project documentation.
• Ensure adherence to construction schedules, budgets, quality standards, and project milestones.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is executed according to approved plans and industry standards.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project specifications.
• Identify project risks, propose mitigation measures, and resolve technical and construction‑related issues.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, Dubai Municipality requirements, and HSE standards.
• Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Prepare progress reports, technical reports, project updates, and cost estimates for management review.
• Support tendering activities, contractor evaluations, and procurement processes related to construction projects.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, permits, approvals, inspection records, and project files.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance to project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in civil construction projects within the UAE.
• Proven experience managing residential, commercial, mixed‑use, or infrastructure construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, structural works, concrete works, finishing works, and project execution.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes, Dubai Municipality regulations, and HSE requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong project management, planning, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification or equivalent project management qualification.
• Membership in a recognized engineering association.
• Experience managing large‑scale construction developments within the UAE.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, project controls, and construction procurement processes.
