Job summary

Ali & Sons Contracting LLC, a subsidiary of Ali & Sons Holding Group, seeks an experienced Project Director to lead large-scale, high-value construction programs in the UAE. You will direct multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery across complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree preferred for senior leadership roles.
• PMP certification is a significant advantage.
• 15-20 years' experience in construction project management.
• Strong command of English; Arabic a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, direct, and coordinate all activities of designated projects to meet goals within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Provide timely progress reports to General Manager and stakeholders.
• Establish work plans, budgets, and staffing; allocate resources efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements on-site.
• Coordinate with Consultants, Clients, Safety Managers, Inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Evaluate progress and adjust plans as necessary.
• Oversee quality management and address non-conformances.
• Lead risk management to minimize delays and costs.
• Participate in budget preparation and control project costs.
• Communicate effectively across project teams and external parties.

Position Overview: Project Director

We seek experienced Project Directors to lead and manage large-scale, high-value construction projects across Dubai. This role is critical in driving project execution on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

You will provide strategic direction, oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and ensure smooth coordination between all project stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, direct, and coordinate all activities of designated projects to meet goals within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Provide timely and clear progress reports to the General Manager and stakeholders.
• Establish project work plans, budgets, and staffing; allocate resources efficiently across project phases.
• Ensure compliance with all contractual, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements on-site.
• Manage interaction and coordination with Consultants, Clients, Safety Managers, Third-party Inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Evaluate project progress regularly and adjust plans/schedules as necessary.
• Oversee quality management and address non-conformances through corrective actions.
• Lead risk management and mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
• Participate in budget preparation and actively control project costs to meet financial targets.
• Communicate effectively across all project teams and external parties, ensuring clarity and alignment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• PMP certification is a significant advantage.
• Minimum 15-20 years' experience in construction project management, with at least 10 years in senior project leadership roles handling high-value government or private sector projects.
• Strong command of English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Proven track record managing large multidisciplinary teams and complex projects in the UAE or GCC region.
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
