Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 20+ years of professional experience in project management, engineering, construction, consultancy, or related field.
• Proven experience leading Independent Verifier (IV), Independent Supervision Consultant (ISC), or similar consultancy/project delivery assignments.
• Strong leadership, risk management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

About the Role:

We are inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced professionals for a Project Director role based in Dubai, UAE, supporting the delivery of major and complex infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will provide senior leadership across project delivery, with particular emphasis on experience in Independent Verification (IV), Independent Supervision Consultancy (ISC), or similar consultancy-led project delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for complex project delivery
• Lead and oversee multidisciplinary project teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Act as a senior point of contact for clients, contractors, consultants, authorities, and key stakeholders
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with agreed scope, programme, quality, safety, and contractual requirements
• Oversee project performance, risk management, resources, and delivery strategies
• Drive effective coordination across engineering, construction supervision, project controls, commercial, and other technical functions
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, governance, and contractual requirements
• Identify project risks and opportunities and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
• Support client engagement and contribute to business development and strategic growth initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (Master’s Degree preferred)
• Minimum 20+ years of professional experience in project management, engineering, construction, consultancy, or a related field
• Proven experience in leading Independent Verifier (IV), Independent Supervision Consultant (ISC), or similar consultancy/project delivery assignments
• Demonstrated track record of successfully leading large, complex, and multidisciplinary projects
• Strong understanding of project management, project controls, construction supervision, contract administration, risk management, and stakeholder management
• Strong understanding of industry standards, best practices, regulatory requirements, and project governance
• PMP, PRINCE2, Chartership, or equivalent professional certification is advantageous
• Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
