Job summary

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics in Dubai is seeking a Project Operations Executive to drive end-to-end project cargo execution, coordinating from origin to destination and ensuring safe, on-time delivery of Breakbulk, RoRo, Heavy Lift, and OOG shipments.

You will liaise with customers, carriers, ports and authorities, arrange specialist equipment, manage documentation and compliance, and provide proactive updates to stakeholders. A Bachelor’s in Logistics and 5 years UAE experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a similar discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of project forwarding experience in UAE.
• Ability to review, interpret, and analyze shipment documentation to determine logistics solutions.
• Ability to coordinate with transport vendors, surveyors, ports, and project stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of project logistics processes and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage project cargo shipments from origin to destination.
• Execute shipments involving Breakbulk, RoRo, Heavy Lift, OOG, Flat Rack, Open Top and conventional cargo.
• Monitor milestones and ensure timelines and customer requirements.
• Maintain cargo visibility and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Liaise with shipping lines, vessel operators, port authorities, transport providers, customs brokers, surveyors, and agents.
• Arrange special equipment and ensure proper securing and stowage.
• Review and manage shipping and customs documentation.
• Coordinate customs clearance activities and regulatory compliance.
• Support procurement and vendor management with operational needs.
• Produce operational KPI reports and shipment summaries.
