Job summary

Al Ghurair in Dubai seeks a procurement professional to process, procure and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders for materials, ensuring best prices and payment terms while meeting delivery timelines.

You will work with technical, planning, factory and store teams, source new suppliers, and negotiate terms to stay within budget. A Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years in aluminium & glass purchasing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Aluminium & Glass or purchasing.
• Knowledge of international procurement sources.
• Ability to understand requirements and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely processing of PRs and POs and materials delivery per specs.
• Economical procurement, beat budget and maintain project records.
• Prepare monthly savings reports against budget.
• Monitor project costs against budget and obtain variance explanations.
• Coordinate with Technical, Planning, Factory, Store to clarify materials descriptions and delivery requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and timely delivery, handle shortages/defects.
• Source new products and negotiate favorable terms, prices, and services.
