Job summary

AKS Prime Group in Dubai seeks an experienced Procurement & Sourcing Specialist to drive supplier sourcing, RFQ processes and commercial negotiations for interior fit-out, FF&E and bespoke works. You will analyse client requirements and manage procurement enquiries from review to final quotation.

The role requires strong knowledge of the UAE supplier market, experience with commercial interior projects, and the ability to source both standard and customised interior solutions while delivering

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years in procurement/sourcing within interior fit-out or FF&E.
• B2B experience in commercial interior projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE interior fit-out suppliers and markets.

Responsibilities

• Review client inquiries, drawings, specs and BOQs to define procurement needs.

Procurement & Sourcing Specialist – Interior Fit-Out, FF&E & Bespoke Works

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Procurement & Sourcing Specialist to join a well-established company in Dubai, specialising in interior fit-out, FF&E, bespoke manufacturing and construction-related solutions.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing procurement enquiries from initial specification review through supplier sourcing, quotation collection, commercial negotiations and cost comparisons. This position requires strong knowledge of the UAE supplier market, experience in commercial interior projects, and the ability to source both standard products and customised, high-quality interior solutions.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple procurement enquiries independently while delivering competitive and commercially viable sourcing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyse client enquiries, architectural drawings, technical specifications, BOQs and project requirements.
• Identify and develop relationships with reliable local and international manufacturers, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs), follow up with suppliers and obtain detailed, competitive quotations.
• Source bespoke and made-to-order products, including custom joinery, furniture, architectural metalwork, natural stone, decorative lighting, glass and specialist finishes.
• Procure standard FF&E products, sanitaryware, furniture, lighting, accessories and interior finishing materials.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from fit-out, civil works, MEP and specialist subcontractors.
• Prepare detailed quotation comparisons, cost breakdowns, procurement budgets and commercial evaluation sheets.
• Assess supplier offers against pricing, technical compliance, quality, lead times, payment terms and reliability.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules and commercial terms to achieve competitive procurement outcomes.
• Identify alternative materials, manufacturers and solutions to optimise costs without compromising design intent or quality.
• Coordinate with design, technical, estimation and project management teams to ensure procurement solutions meet project requirements.
• Maintain and expand a structured database of suppliers, manufacturers, subcontractors and product references.
• Manage multiple sourcing enquiries simultaneously and meet quotation submission deadlines.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing or estimation within interior fit-out, FF&E, hospitality or luxury interior projects.
• Mandatory B2B experience in commercial interior projects, preferably hotels, hospitality, restaurants or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE market for interior fit-out materials, FF&E suppliers, bespoke manufacturers and specialist subcontractors.
• Proven experience sourcing custom-made products, particularly joinery, metalwork, stone, furniture and decorative lighting.
• Familiarity with premium materials, international brands and quality standards for high-end residential and hospitality projects.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, BOQs, specifications and technical documentation.
• Strong commercial acumen, quotation analysis, cost comparison and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard procurement documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience working for an interior fit-out contractor, FF&E procurement company, hospitality supplier or design-and-build business.
• Established supplier contacts across the UAE and experience sourcing from international markets, particularly Europe, Turkey and China.
• Ability to manage both catalogue-based procurement and technically complex bespoke manufacturing requirements.
• A good understanding of design aesthetics, material specifications and the quality expectations of premium interior projects.
• A proactive, resourceful and results-oriented approach to procurement and supplier management.
