Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of UAE purchasing experience in interior fit-out, construction, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of interior finishing materials, MEP items, joinery, and procurement processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/procurement software.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to read technical drawings, BOQs and specifications and coordinate with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure construction and fit-out materials, including finishes, MEP items, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers to ensure best price, quality, and delivery terms.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders per company procedures.
• Monitor delivery schedules to meet project timelines.

The Purchaser is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and subcontractor services required for interior fit-out projects. The role ensures timely delivery, cost control, and quality compliance while coordinating closely with project managers, site engineers, suppliers, and vendors.

• Source and procure construction and fit-out materials, including finishes, MEP items, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers to achieve the best price, quality, and delivery terms.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company procurement procedures.
• Monitor material delivery schedules to ensure project timelines are met.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and the storekeeper regarding material requirements and inventory.
• Develop and maintain relationships with approved suppliers and identify new vendors.
• Ensure purchased materials comply with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
