Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY in Abu Dhabi invites a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to lead procurement for Oil & Gas EPC projects. You will evaluate technical offers, coordinate with engineering, and prepare purchase orders to meet ITP standards.

Candidates should have a Mechanical Engineering degree, at least 20 years of Gulf EPC experience, and familiarity with major regional vendors. Local UAE eligibility required.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the technical offers and coordinate with the engineering team for preparing final Technical Bids.
• Negotiate commercial terms and delivery conditions.
• Prepare Purchase Orders.
• Review the specifications of project materials.
• Initiate RFQ and receive technical commercial offers.
• Coordinate with vendors, project quality personnel for stage inspection of manufacturing progress.
• Conduct final inspection as per ITP requirements prior to delivery.
• Arrange payment as per PO terms by coordinating with Accounts.
• Close out all project and non-project purchase orders.
• Coordinate with projects engineering for evaluation of technical offers.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
• 20 years of experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Preferred experience with major EPC companies in the Middle East.
• Familiar with international vendors for static/rotating equipment, piping, materials, process equipment, electrical and instrumentation equipment.

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience in Pipeline/Oil & Gas/EPC/Flowline/Wellhead/Brownfield/Upstream/Onshore projects.
• Gulf/ADNOC experience preferred.
• Clean‑shaven policy applicable.
• Candidates with Metro/Building/Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible.
• Maximum age limit is 49 years (up to 50 years for managerial positions with significant Gulf experience).
• Managerial and SR positions require a minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field.
