Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY seeks an experienced Contract Engineer for its Abu Dhabi operations in the oil & gas and construction sectors. You will draft, review and negotiate EPC, O&M, and supply contracts while aligning with project objectives and legal requirements.

Expect to analyze terms, manage risks, and oversee the contract lifecycle from negotiation through closeout, coordinating with project managers, legal, and procurement to ensure seamless execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 10-12 years hands-on experience in contract engineering.
• Experience drafting, negotiating and managing EPC, O&M and supply contracts.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate complex construction and service contracts ensuring alignment with project objectives and legal requirements.
• Analyze contract terms, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies to protect the company's interests.
• Manage the entire contract lifecycle from initial drafting and negotiation to execution, administration, and closeout.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, legal teams, and procurement departments to ensure seamless contract execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or a related technical field.

Minimum of 10-12 years of hands‑on experience in contract engineering, preferably within the construction or oil & gas industry.

• Proven ability to draft, negotiate, and manage various types of contracts (EPC, O&M, supply agreements).
• Strong understanding of contract law, risk‑management principles, and procurement processes.

Eligibility Criteria

Experience in Pipeline, Oil & Gas, EPC, Flowline, Wellhead, Brownfield, Upstream, Onshore.

Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred.

Clean‑shaven policy applicable.

Candidates with Metro, Building, Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible.

Maximum age limit is 49 years. For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience.

Managerial and SR. positions: A minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field is mandatory.
