Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY is seeking a senior mechanical engineering professional with 20 years of Oil & Gas EPC experience to evaluate technical offers, coordinate with the engineering team, and negotiate commercial terms for final bids. The role includes PO preparation, RFQ initiation, and ensuring ITP-compliant inspections prior to delivery.

Ideal candidates have Gulf/ADNOC exposure, a strong vendor network for static/ rotating equipment, and immediate availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction (not design).
• Gulf/ADNOC experience preferred.
• Clean-shaven policy applicable.
• Candidates must be immediate joiners.
• Metro/Building/Road Infrastructure experience not eligible.
• Age max 49 years; managerial up to 50 with Gulf experience.
• Minimum 5 years Gulf experience in relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate technical offers and coordinate with engineering for final Technical Bids.
• Negotiate commercial terms and delivery conditions.
• Prepare Purchase Orders.
• Review project materials specifications.
• Initiate RFQ and receive techno-commercial offers.
• Coordinate with vendors' quality personnel for stage inspection and ITP-compliant final inspection.
• Arrange payments per PO terms with Accounts.
• Close out all project and non-project POs.
• Coordinate with Projects Engineering for technical offer evaluation.

Job description

Evaluate the technical offers and coordination with engineering team for preparing final Technical Bids. Negotiation of commercial terms and delivery conditions. Preparation of Purchase Orders. Review the Specifications of Project Materials. Initiate RFQ and receipt of techno commercial offers. Coordination with vendors project Quality personnel for Stage inspection manufacturing progress final inspection as per ITP requirements prior to delivery. Arrange Payment as per PO terms by coordinating with Accounts. Close Out of all Project and non-Project Purchase Orders. Coordinate with Projects Engineering for Evaluation of Technical offer.

Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with 20 years’ Experience in Oil & Gas EPC Projects.

Preference for those who are having experience with major EPC companies in Middle East.

Should be familiar with international vendors for static/ rotating equipment, piping Material, process equipment, electrical and instrumentation Equipment’s etc.

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience in construction (not design), Pipeline / Oil & Gas / EPC / Flowline / Wellhead / Brownfield / Upstream / Onshore.
• Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred.
• Clean-shaven policy applicable.
• Candidates must be immediate joiners.
• Candidates with Metro / Building / Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible.

Age Criteria: Maximum age limit is 49 years. For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience. Managerial and SR. Positions: A minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field is mandatory.
