Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY in Abu Dhabi is seeking a senior procurement professional to lead sourcing, supplier evaluation and terms negotiations across manufacturing and retail categories.

You will manage requisitions, issue POs, oversee inventory, and partner with internal teams to ensure timely delivery while driving cost savings and compliance in a Gulf market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field.
• CIPS or CPSM certification preferred.
• 5–10 years of purchasing/procurement experience, ideally in manufacturing or retail.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders accurately and promptly while maintaining meticulous records for auditing and tracking.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking, optimizing working capital.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Hold relevant certifications such as CIPS or CPSM.
• Have 5‑10 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally within the manufacturing or retail sector.
• Exhibit strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate value and build rapport with stakeholders.

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience in Pipeline, Oil & Gas, EPC, Flowline, Wellhead, Brownfield, Upstream, or Onshore projects.
• Gulf/ADNOC experience preferred.
• Candidates with Metro, Building, or Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible.
• Maximum age limit is 49 years (for managerial positions may be extended up to 50 years if candidate has significant Gulf experience).
• For managerial and senior positions: minimum 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field is mandatory.
