Confidential company in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced procurement professional with 6–7+ years of expertise in sourcing, import/export operations, and vendor management. You will manage end-to-end procurement for electrical, mechanical, and automation equipment and coordinate across multiple departments to ensure timely material availability.

You will evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and oversee documentation, pricing, and logistics for both domestic and international shipments.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and purchase management software.
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and meet project deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end procurement of electrical, mechanical, industrial equipment, automation products, and related materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable domestic and international suppliers.
• Handle import and export activities, including documentation, shipping coordination, customs clearance, and logistics.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize commercial terms with suppliers.
• Prepare and manage RFQs, comparative statements, purchase orders, and procurement reports.
• Coordinate with technical, production, project, stores, finance, and quality departments to ensure timely material availability.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, datasheets, and applicable standards before finalizing purchases.
• Monitor order status, delivery schedules, material quality, and supplier performance.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics partners for international shipments.
• Manage import-export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading/airway bills, and other applicable trade documents.
• Optimize procurement costs, lead times, inventory levels, and overall supply chain efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable import-export regulations.

Job description

Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced procurement professional with 6–7+ years of experience in domestic and international procurement, import-export operations, and vendor management. The candidate should have sound technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, industrial equipment, and automation products, along with expertise in sourcing, price negotiation, purchase order management, import documentation, and logistics coordination.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 6–7 years of relevant experience in procurement and import-export operations.
• Good technical understanding of electrical, mechanical, industrial, and automation products.
• Practical experience in domestic and international sourcing, vendor development, and commercial negotiations.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, import-export documentation, customs clearance, freight forwarding, and international logistics.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and purchase management software.
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and meet project deadlines.
