Job summary

Landmark Group is seeking a senior procurement professional to lead indirect sourcing across FMCG, retail, and automotive sectors in Dubai. You will design long-range sourcing strategies, negotiate techno-commercial terms, and optimize spend through e-procurement tools, RFx, and auctions.

You will develop category strategies, conduct spend analytics, and drive cost savings while aligning with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of work experience in Procurement/Sourcing in FMCG, Retail & Automobile.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / MBA; CIPS preferred.
• Knowledge of e-Procurement, RFX, e-Auctions, ERP SAP ARIBA or Oracle R Fusion.
• Strong Project Management, Analytical and influencing Skills.
• Sound knowledge of processes and systems.
• People / Team Management.
• Quick and rational decision-making skills under pressure.
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer / Technical Skills: ERP Oracle / SAP, BI Tools, MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Work with Indirect Sourcing Team to build category-specific sourcing strategies.
• Negotiate techno-commercial terms with suppliers across categories.
• Manage e-Procurement tools, RfX, online auctions and tendering.
• Develop and deliver sourcing strategies across group companies.
• Conduct spend analysis and drive cost optimization projects.
• Drive procurement efficiencies and develop SOPs.
• Align procurement processes with stakeholders for efficiency.
• Manage supplier relationships with strategic suppliers.
• Lead RFQ processes and negotiations across geographies.
• Develop samples from new vendors and evaluate quality with concept teams.
• Finalize rates cards and communicate to concept sourcing teams.
• Interface with cross-functional teams on product/quality issues.
• Establish and execute time and action timelines for buying seasons.

• Work with the Indirect Sourcing Team to build category-specific short, medium, and long-range sourcing strategies
• Negotiation of techno-commercial terms with suppliers for various categories.
• Complete knowledge of E-Procurement tools, RfX, online auctions and tendering.
• Develop & deliver sourcing strategies across the group companies
• Conduct Spend analysis of indirect spend on regular basis and drive cost optimization projects
• Drive procurement efficiencies including improvement of existing practices and develop SOP and plans to achieve results in ever changing business priorities
• Alignment of procurement processes and practices with multiple stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes
• Supplier relationship management with strategic suppliers
• Run RFQ process and lead negotiations for consolidated requirements across geographies.
• Develop samples from prospective new vendors and conduct quality evaluation workshops with the concept teams
• Finalize rates cards for each input vendor and communicate to concept sourcing teams
• Interface and problem solve with cross functional teams on any product/quality issues
• Establish & execute time and action timelines for each buying season

Requirements

• 8-10 years of work experience in Procurement/ Sourcing in industries like FMCG, Retail & Automobile.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / MBA Qualification from reputed institute
• Professionals with Certified Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) will be preferred
• Knowledge of e-Procurement, RFX, e-Auctions, ERP Platform- SAP ARIBA or Oracle R Fusion
